You can extract property data from objects in drawings and export the output to a table or to an external file.
Using the Data Extraction wizard, you select objects and their properties from which to extract data and save the parameters in a file. You can also combine the extracted data with information in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Using table styles, you can quickly create a pre-formatted table that has a title and column labels.
When the extracted data is no longer current with the drawing, you can be notified that the table needs to be updated.
Using the Data Extraction wizard, you can extract property information from objects in drawings, including blocks and their attributes and drawing properties, such as drawing name and summary information. The extracted data can be linked with information in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and output to a table or an external file.
You use the Data Extraction wizard to choose the data source (drawings) to extract property data from selected objects. You can output the data to a table or external file.
Information in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet can be combined with extracted data from drawings.
You can export extracted data to a table or an external file.
Extracted data in a table can be updated either manually or automatically.
You can modify a data extraction table by changing the formatting, adding columns and rows, or editing data in the cells.
