Quick Reference
To lock and unlock cells
Select one or more cells in a table that you want to lock or unlock using one of the following methods:
Click inside a cell.
Hold down SHIFT and click inside another cell to select those two cells and all the cells between them.
Click inside the selected cell, drag to the cells you want to select, and release.
Use one of the following options:
To unlock a cell or cells.
On the Table ribbon contextual tab or Table toolbar, click Locking
Unlocked
To lock a cell or cells.
On the Table ribbon contextual tab or Table toolbar, click Locking
Data and Format Locked
Command entry:
TABLEDIT
Shortcut menu:
Select and right-click a cell or range of cells. Click Locking.
