To turn the display of text on or off

1. Click Tools  Options. At the Command prompt, enter options.
2. In the Options dialog box, Display tab, under Display Performance, select Show Text Boundary Frame Only.

   The check mark indicates that text is displayed as a rectangular frame.

3. Click OK.
4. To display your changes, click View menu  Regen.To display your changes, at the Command prompt, enter regen.
