This alarm is reported when the Antenna and TMA Control Unit and the TMU communicates abnormally.

Impact on the System

The Antenna and TMA Control Unit cannot be maintained.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The Antenna and TMA Control Unit is not installed.
  • The communication link is faulty between the TMU and the Antenna and TMA Control Unit.

Procedure

  1. Check if the faulty Antenna and TMA Control Unit is powered on and in position.

    Y=>Go to Step 3.

    N=>Go to Step 2.

  2. Power on the Antenna and TMA Control Unit or install the board.

    Y=>The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is complete.

    N=>Go to Step 3.

  3. Check if the communication cable of the Antenna and TMA Control Unit is connected properly.
    1. Check if the CBUS3 is connected properly.

      Y=>Go to Step 4.

      N=>Go to Step b.

    2. Connect the CBUS3 properly. Check if the alarm is cleared.

      Y=>The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is complete.

      N=>Go to Step 4.

  4. Plug out or replace the other boards in the CBUS3 link .Check if the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm handling is complete.

    N=>Go to Step 5.

  5. Replace the faulty Antenna and TMA Control Unit. Check if the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N=> The alarm is not cleared. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
