This alarm is generated when the current feeding to the TMA is too high.

Impact on the System

Once the alarm is generated, the TMA or DATU may be damaged.

System Actions

If the current exceeds a predefined threshold, the system may disconnect the feeding circuit.

Possible Causes

The TMA hardware is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the power cable and its connector are securely connected.
    1. Check whether the power cable and its connector are securely connected.

      Y=> Go to step 2.

      N=> Go to step b.

    2. Reconnect the cable and the connector.

      Check whether the alarm is cleared.

      Y=> The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

      N=> Go to step 2.

  2. Check the TMA.

    Shut down the TMA and restart it. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N=> Go to step 3.

  3. Replace the TMA.

    Replace the TMA, and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N=> The alarm persists. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
