Description

This alarm is reported when the DC surge protector is faulty, the settings of the alarm level are incorrect, or the TCU is faulty.

Possible Causes

  • The sensor for the DC surge protector is faulty.
  • The TCU is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check the sensor for the DC surge protector.
    1. Check whether the sensor is faulty by examining the loop fuse in the surge protector. A burnt-out fuse indicates that the sensor is faulty.

      Y => The sensor for the DC surge protector is faulty. Replace the sensor. Go to procedure 2.

      N => The sensor for the DC surge protector is normal. Go to procedure 2.

  2. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 3.

  3. Reset the TCU.
    1. Reset the TCU on the LMT.
    2. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

      Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 4.

  4. Replace the TCU.
    1. Replace the TCU manually.
    2. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

      Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei.
