Possible Causes

  • The configuration of the GPS or RGPS is inconsistent with the physical configuration.
  • The hardware of the GPS receiver is faulty.
  • The main control module is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check the configuration and physical type of the GPS or RGPS.
    1. Check whether the configuration and physical type of the GPS or RGPS are consistent.

      Y=> Go to step 2;

      N=> Go to step b.

    2. Reconfigure the type of the receiver as GPS or RGPS, and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

      Y=> The alarm handing ends;

      N=> Go to step 2.

  2. Check whether the DGPS board is in position.
    1. Check whether the corresponding DGPS board is in position.

      Y=> Go to step 3;

      N=> Go to step b.

    2. Reinstall the DGPS board, and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

      Y=> The alarm handing ends;

      N=> Go to step 3.

  3. Replace the DGPS board, and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm handing ends;

    N=> Go to step 4.

  4. Replace the DTMU board, and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm handing ends;

    N=> Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
