Description

This alarm is reported when the clock link is abnormal or the handshake fails in IP transport mode.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The IPCLK configuration of the BTS is incorrect.
  • The network between the BTS and the clock server is faulty.
  • The clock server is faulty or the configuration of the clock server is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the IPCLK configuration (the IP address and port number of the IP clock server) sent by the BSC is correct.

    Y => Go to procedure 3.

    N => Go to procedure 2.

  2. Modify the data and resend it to the BTS.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. End the alarm handling.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 3.

  3. Check whether the connection between the BTS and the clock server is correct, and check whether the configuration of the intermediate equipment is correct.

    Y => Go to procedure 5.

    N => Go to procedure 4.

  4. Correctly connect the BTS and the clock server and correctly configure the intermediate equipment. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. End the alarm handling.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 5.

  5. Check whether the clock server runs normally and the configuration of the clock server is correct.

    Y => The operation is normal or the configuration is correct, yet the alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.

    N => The operation is abnormal or the configuration is incorrect. Go to procedure 6.

  6. Ensure that the clock server runs normally and sends the correct configuration. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. End the alarm handling.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
