Description

This alarm is reported when the temperature of the PA board exceeds the upper threshold.

Impact on the System

When the alarm is generated, the PA board may be burnt out.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The ambient temperature is too high.
  • The BTS3900E hardware is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check the working environment of the BTS.

    Check whether the ambient temperature is higher than 50℃. If yes, improve the ambient temperature or the ventilation. Check whether the alarm is cleared after half an hour.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. End the alarm handling.

    N=> The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 2.

  2. Replace the BTS3900E.

    Replace the 3900E Module, and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm is cleared. End the alarm handling.

    N=> The alarm is not cleared. Contact the Huawei Customer Service Center.
