System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The alarm threshold is inappropriate.
  • An alarm is generated at the power supply to the BTS.
  • The environment monitoring unit is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check the output from the power supply cabinet.
    1. Check whether the output from the power supply cabinet is normal.

      Y => The output is normal. Go to procedure 2.

      N => The output is abnormal. Go to step b.

    2. Clear the fault in the power supply cabinet to ensure that its output is normal. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

      Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 2.

  2. Check the threshold of the voltage alarm.
    1. Check whether the threshold of the voltage alarm for the -48 V power is appropriate.

      Y => The threshold is appropriate. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.

      N => The threshold is inappropriate. Go to step b.

    2. Set the threshold of the -48 V power alarm.
    3. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

      Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
