None.

Possible Causes

  • The ambient temperature is too high or too low.
  • The alarm threshold is inappropriate.
  • The sensor is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Read from the BSC the temperature at the air inlet of the fan monitoring board.
    1. Read the temperature reported to the BSC.
    2. Check whether the temperature reported is the same as the actual temperature of the cabinet.

Y => The temperature reported is the same as the actual temperature. Go to procedure 2.

N => The temperature reported is different from the actual temperature. Go to procedure 4.

  2. Check the alarm threshold.
    1. Compare the temperature reported with the alarm threshold. (By default, the high-temperature threshold is 80 degrees Celsius and the low-temperature threshold is -20 degrees Celsius.)
    2. Determine whether the temperature reported is within the range from the low-temperature threshold to the high-temperature threshold:

Y => The temperature is normal. No further action is required.

      N => Go to procedure 3.

  3. Reset the fan monitoring board.
    1. Reset the fan monitoring board remotely by software.
    2. Check whether the alarm is cleared:

Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 4.

  4. Replace the fan monitoring board, and then check whether the alarm is cleared:

Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
