203 PDCH Configured on Overlayer with an old version PCU

Description

PCU is old version, and does not support the configuration of PDCH on Overlayer in a concentric cell. Such configuration will effect the performance result of BSC and PCU

6	Alarm Attribute	0=Normal, Alarms period are longer than the Transient Threshold. 1=Transient Count, The times and the period of the alarms whose periods are shorter than the Transient Threshold are summed up. If the sum result is longer than the Alarm Occurrence Period Threshold or Alarm Occurrence Times Threshold, an alarm so called Transient Count Alarm is triggered. Because Transient Count Alarm is based on accumulative result, the recovery of the alarm may occur at least one Summing Cycle later. The Summing Cycle can be query by MML "LST STATSLDWIN".

Such configuration will effect the performance result of BSC and PCU

System Actions

The system is operational, but the PDCH on Overlayer can not be used.

Possible Causes

PCU is old version, and PDCH is onfigured on Overlayer in a concentric cell.

Procedure

Config the PDCH on Underlayer or update the PCU to a new version which supports v1.30 or newer version PB interface protocol
