Because Transient Count Alarm is based on accumulative result, the recovery of the alarm may occur at least one Summing Cycle later. The Summing Cycle can be query by MML "LST STATSLDWIN". |
Impact on the System
- If the power connector is invalid, there is no system action.
- If the fan power module is faulty, the fan rev remains the same but the reliability is low.
System Actions
- (1) The power connector is invalid or the connection is poor, possibly causing the fan is powered off.
- (2) The fan power module is faulty, possibly causing the fan box is not operational.
Possible Causes
- A hardware failure occurs to the fan monitoring board.
- The power connector is invalid or the connection is poor.
- The fan power module is faulty.
Procedure

Replace the fan subrack and check whether the alarm is cleared.

NOTE: Remove the faulty fan subrack and insert a new fan subrack soon. The interval should be less than five minutes.
