21255 Abnormal OMU Data Configuration

Description

The actual OMU type (External, Front, and Back), OMU subrack number, or OMU slot number is inconsistent with those specified by the OMU data configuration.

Impact on the System

The OMU software may fail to be started.
The number of GOMUs is one in the data configuration file, that is, the single-GOMU system. If the OMU software is stopped, the external IP address may be released. In this case, if the physical IP is unavailable, the BSC cannot be remotely operated.
The number of GOMUs is two in the data configuration file, that is, the dual-GOMU system. If the software of the active GOMU is stopped, the external IP address may not be released. In this case, the IP address of the active OMU conflicts with that of the standby GOMU. Then, the BSC cannot be remotely operated.

Procedure

Ensure that the actual OMU type (External, Front, and Back), OMU subrack number, or OMU slot number is consistent with those specified by the OMU data configuration.
Y => Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.

N => Change the OMU data configuration and reset the OMU core process. Go to 2.
Check whether the alarm is cleared.
