Description

This alarm is reported when any of an antenna from antenna 1 to antenna 4 is faulty.

Impact on the System

The receiving sensibility lowers, reducing the coverage area.

Possible Causes

  • Faulty Antenna feeder.
  • Faulty hardware of DTRU.

Procedure

  1. Check the corresponding antenna and feeder.

    Use a sitemaster to check the VSWR based on the alarm tributary number. Check whether the antenna is normal. If no, go to step [2].

  2. Replace the faulty antenna according to the engineering requirements.

  3. Perform a Level-4 reset of the BTS through the LMT or Site Maintenance Terminal System and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N=> The alarm is not cleared. The fault may lie in faulty hardware of DTRU. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
