  • Faulty kind of DTRUs are configured in the BTS.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the DIP switches S1?S4 on the TRB panel are correctly set based on the following table.

    note:

1 ang s3 indicates cabinet number 0?7.OFF stands for 1 and ON for 0.

A cabinet number is denoted by a binary numeral. F_ID3/ID6 is the most significant bit (MSB) and F_ID0/ID3 the least significant bit (LSB).

To indicate cabinet number 5 (0101), for example, set F_ID3/ID6 to ON, F_ID2/ID5 to OFF, F_ID1/ID4 to ON and F_ID0/ID3 to OFF.

    note:

s2 and s4 indicates frame number 0?3.OFF stands for 1 and ON for 0.

A frame number is denoted by a binary numeral and specified only by B_ID1/ID2 and B_ID2/ID7. B_ID2/ID7 is the most significant bit (MSB) and B_ID1/ID2 the least significant bit (LSB).

The frames are numbered 0?3 from the bottom up.

To indicate frame number 2 (10), for example, set B_ID2/ID7 to OFF and B_ID1/ID2 to ON.
