System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • There is no AC input.
  • AC power supply is out of phase.
  • The voltage regulator starts over/low voltage protection.
  • The voltage regulator fails.

Procedure

  1. Check whether there are any correlated alarm

    Check whether ALM-2362 No Mains Supply Alarm is reported on the alarm system. Handle ALM-2362 No Mains Supply Alarm according to the corresponding handling suggestions. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm handling ends.

    N=> Go to Step 2.

    If no such alarms are reported, go the Step [2].

  2. Measure the input voltage of the voltage regulator

    Measure the input AC voltage of the voltage regulator to see whether it is between 150V and 300V.

    Y=> Go to Step 4.

    N=>Go to Step 3.

  3. Check the AC mains supply

    Check whether the AC mains supply is in normal operation (the output voltage should be between 150V and 300V). Clear the faults of the mains supply if any. View whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm handling ends.

    N=>Contact Huawei Customer Service Center

  4. Set Bypass switch to ON position

    Set the Bypass switch (on the panel of the voltage regulator) to ON position. View whether the BTS works normally.

    Y=>The alarm may be caused by faults of the voltage regulator. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center to replace the voltage regulator.

    N=>Set the Bypass switch back to OFF position.Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center for solutions.
