294 TRX Config Error

Description

This alarm is reported when the TRX of the BTS is set to support the EGPRS on the BSC LMT, but the TRX is not capable of supporting the EGPRS; or when The TRX of the BTS is set to support the GPRS on the BSC LMT, but the TRX is not capable of supporting the GPRS.

1	TrxId.	ID of the TRX where the alarm is generated
2	Alarm Attribute	0=Normal, Alarms period are longer than the Transient Threshold. 1=Transient Count, The times and the period of the alarms whose periods are shorter than the Transient Threshold are summed up. If the sum result is longer than the Alarm Occurrence Period Threshold or Alarm Occurrence Times Threshold, an alarm so called Transient Count Alarm is triggered. Because Transient Count Alarm is based on accumulative result, the recovery of the alarm may occur at least one Summing Cycle later. The Summing Cycle can be query by MML "LST STATSLDWIN".

Possible Causes

The TRX of the BTS is set to support the EGPRS on the BSC LMT, but the TRX is not capable of supporting the EGPRS;
The TRX of the BTS is set to support the GPRS on the BSC LMT, but the TRX is not capable of supporting the GPRS.

Procedure

Check whether the Types of TRXs Supported by the BSC and the Software Version of BTS TRX are consistent;
Y => Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.

N => Go to 2;
Configure the Types of TRXs Supported by the BSC again or change the Software Version of BTS TRX, make sure they are consistent.
