Impact on the System

The DRU fails and run abnormally upon occurence of this alarm. As a result, all services supported by this DRU are interrupted.

System Actions

The system shuts off the power amplifier upon the detection of the alarm at the first time, then starts the power amplifier again ten minutes later. Check whether the alarm still exists. If the alarm is cleared, the alarm handling ends. If the alarm occurs again, the system shuts off the power amplifier again. The system stops the self-action if the alarm still exists after having shut off and started the power amplifier for three times.

Possible Causes

  • The RF working voltage output by the MCU is abnormal.
  • The DRU hardware is faulty.
  • The MCU hardware is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Reset the BTS

Perform fourth-level reset on the BTS3002C or reset it by power-down (recommended) through the LMT or local maintenance system. Check whether the alarm is cleared.
