Description

This alarm is triggered when the DRU temperature is higher than the the high temperature major alarm threshold.

Impact on the System

When the alarm occurs, the system will automatically shut off the power amplifier and the DRU services will be interrupted.

System Actions

When the alarm occurs, the system will automatically shut off the power amplifier. In ten minutes it will detect whether the DRU temperature is back to normal. If yes, it will turn on the power amplifier. Otherwise, it will detect the temperature in another ten minutes. If the temperature remains high after three successive detection failures, the system will quit turning on the power amplifier.

Possible Causes

  • The heating board in the DRU is faulty.
  • The DRU hardware is faulty.
  • The cooling system in the DRU fails.

Procedure

  1. Wait for the alarm to be cleared automatically

    Wait for about 30 minutes. Check whether the alarm disappears automatically.

    Y=> The alarm handling ends.

    N=> Go to Step 2.

  2. Reset the BTS

    Perform fourth-level reset on the BTS3002C through the LMT or local maintenance system. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm handling ends.

    N=> The hardware in the system might fail. Check and record the DRU temperature according to Check the temperature of the DRU .Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
