ALM-3664 DRU Temperature alarm

Description

This alarm is triggered when the DRU temperature is between the high temperature warning threshold and the high temperature major alarm threshold, or lower than the low temperature warning threshold.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The heating board in the DRU is faulty.
  • Some hardware in the DRU is faulty.
  • The cooling system in the DRU fails.

Procedure

  1. Wait for the alarm to disappear automatically

    Wait for about 30 minutes. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm handling ends.

    N=> Go to step 2.

    Note:

    Manual handling is required if the alarm is frequently reported and cleared.

  2. Check the DRU temperature

    To check the DRU temperature through the following operations:

    1. Log in to the BSC6000 Local Maintenance Terminal.
    2. Choose BTS Maintenance > site Maintenance > Monitor BTS Resource in the menu bar.The Monitor BTS Resource dialog box is displayed.

      Note:

      HW_ALM_THD_HIGHTEMPERATURE: 65;HW_ALM_THD_LOWTEMPERATURE: -5.

  3. Reset the BTS

    Perform fourth-level reset on the BTS3002C through the LMT or local maintenance system. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm handling is complete.

    N=>The DRU hardware might be faulty.Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center and report the DRU temperature to it.
