ALM-3668 Transmission Loop Test Alarm

Description

This alarm is triggered when a user delivers the command to start the IOMU E1 loopback test or IASU loopback test on the BTS3002C through the maintenance system.

Impact on the System

When the alarm occurs, the communications between the BTS3002C and the BSC and the services in the BTS3002C will be interrupted.

System Actions

When the test time is up, the BTS3002C resets automatically and resumes to normal operation.

Possible Causes

An IOMU E1 loopback test or IASU loopback test is started.

Procedure

  1. The system reports this warning when an E1 loopback test or IASU loopback test is started manually. No manual handling is required.
