ALM-3718 13M Clock Maintenance Alarm

Description

This alarm is triggered when the BTS clock has not been locked to the BSC clock for successive 365 days cause the frequency of the 13 M crystal oscillator deviates.

Impact on the System

When the alarm occurs, the BTS performances such as RF specification and asynchronous handover related specifications might decrease.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The alarm occurs when the both of the following two conditions are met at a time.
  • The 13 M clock of the BTS3002C has not been locked to the BSC clock for successive 365 days.
  • The frequency precision of the 13 M crystal oscillator has not been calibrated for 365 days.

Procedure

  1. Calibrate the frequency error of the 13 M crystal oscillator with a frequency meter.Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center
