ALM-4002 PSU Communication Failure Alarm

Description

This alarm is reported when the communication between the PSU and the PMU is interrupted, or the out-position of the PSU is detected by the PSU.

Impact on the System

The power supply of the BTS is abnormal and the services are interrupted.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The communication between the PSU and the PMU is interrupted.
  • The PMU detects the out-position of the PSU.
  • The PSU is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check if the PSU and the PMU are inserted tight.

    Y=>Go to Step 2.

    N=>Go to Step 3.

  2. Plug out and then insert the boards and see if the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>Alarm handling is completed.

    N=>The alarm is not cleared. Go to step 3.

  3. Replace the PMU

    Replace the PMU and see if the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is completed.

    N=>The alarm is not cleared. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
