4120 TRX DBUS Alarm

Description

This alarm is reported when the DBUS clock of the TRX is abnormal or the TRX hardware detects that the DBUS signal sent by the main control module is lost.

System Actions

Check if the alarm is cleared every certain period of time.

Possible Causes

  • The cable distribution of the rack is faulty.
  • The backplane of the DTRU subrack is faulty.
  • The signal transfer card is faulty.
  • The backplane of the main control module is faulty.
  • The main control module is faulty.
  • The DTRU hardware is faulty.
  • The E1 transmission cable is faulty.
  • The DBUS of the rack is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Replace the cable distribution of the rack.

    Replace the cable distribution of the rack, and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 2.

  2. Replace the backplane of the DTRU subrack.

    Replace the DTRU, and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 3.

  3. Replace the signal transfer card.

    Replace the signal conversion card, and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 4.

  4. Replace the backplane of the main control module.

    Replace the backplane of the main control module, and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 5.

  5. Replace the main control module.

    Replace the main control module, and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
