Description

The alarm is reported when the gain of the main receive path smaller than that of the diversity receive path exceeds the relevant threshold.

The UL sensibility of the DTRU decreases upon occurrence of this alarm.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The RF cable connected to the main receive port on the DTRU is loose or damaged.
  • The DTRU is damaged.
  • The DAFU is damaged.
  • The main receive cable between the DDPU and the cabinet top is loose or damaged.
  • The cable between the cabinet top and antenna is loose or damaged or the tower top amplifier (TTA) between them is damaged.

Procedure

  1. Check the RF cable connected to the main receive port on the DTRU.
    1. Check whether the RF cable connected to the main receive port on the DTRU is loose or damaged.

      Y=> Go to b.

      N=> Go to c .

    2. Secure the loose connector to the port or replace the damaged cable.
    3. Check if the alarm is cleared.

      Y=> The alarm is cleared. Alarm Handling is completed.

      N=> The alarm is not cleared. Go to Step 2.

  2. Check whether the DTRU is faulty or not.

    Replace the faulty DTRU and see if the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm is cleared. Alarm Handling is completed.

    N=> The alarm is not cleared. Go to Step 3.

  3. Check the DAFU.

    Replace the faulty DAFU. Check if the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm is cleared. Alarm Handling is completed.

    N=> The alarm is not cleared. Go to Step 4.

  4. Check the main receive cable between the DDPU and cabinet top
    1. Check whether the main receive RF cable between the DDPU and cabinet top is is loose or damaged.

      Y=>Go to b.

      N=>Go to c.

    2. Secure the loose connector to the port or replace the damaged cable.
    3. Check if the alarm is cleared.

      Y=>The alarm is cleared. Alarm Handling is completed.

      N=>The alarm is not cleared. Go to Step 5.

  5. Check all the cables and devices between the cabinet top and antenna.
    1. Check all the cables and devices between the cabinet top and antenna to see whether there is any loose cable connector, cable damage or TTA damage.

      Y=>Go to b.

      N=>Go to c.

    2. Secure the cable connector to the relevant port or replace the cable or TTA.
    3. Check if the alarm is cleared.

      Y=>The alarm is cleared. Alarm Handling is completed.

      N=>The alarm is not cleared. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
