Description

This alarm is reported if no fan is installed under the DDRM, or the connection of the fan is improper when the working power of the DDRM is larger than 15 W.

Impact on the System

The heat dissipation capability of the DDRM has gone down.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

No fan is installed or the connection of the fan is improper when the working power of the DDRM is larger than 15 W.

Procedure

  1. Check whether there is a fan under the DDRM.

    Y=> Go to Step 2.

    N=> Install a fan under the DDRM. Ensure that the cable that connects the fan is connected properly.

  2. Check whether the connection of the fan is normal.

    Y=>Go to Step 3.

    N=>Ensure that the connection is proper. If the alarm persists, go to Step [3].

  3. Replace the fan and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is completed.

    N=>The alarm is not cleared. Go to Step 4.

  4. Replace the DDRM and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is completed.

    N=>The alarm is not cleared. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
