430 BTS Software Inconsistency Alarm

Description

This alarm is reported when the BTS software version for the automatic loading of the activation data configuration is different from the that on the OMU, or when the software version is not configured. The software version is checked through the resource inspection performed everyday and is also checked when the dynamic software automatically loads the activation data configuration.

4	Alarm Attribute	0=Normal, Alarms period are longer than the Transient Threshold. 1=Transient Count, The times and the period of the alarms whose periods are shorter than the Transient Threshold are summed up. If the sum result is longer than the Alarm Occurrence Period Threshold or Alarm Occurrence Times Threshold, an alarm so called Transient Count Alarm is triggered. Because Transient Count Alarm is based on accumulative result, the recovery of the alarm may occur at least one Summing Cycle later. The Summing Cycle can be query by MML "LST STATSLDWIN".

Impact on the System

When this alarm is reported, the related BTS software cannot be automatically loaded.

Possible Causes

When the user fails to configure the correct BTS software version and the automatic loading mode is used, this alarm is generated.

Procedure

Check the BTS Version 1 and BTS Version 2 in the BTS Attributes on the LMT or MML. Check whether they are the same as the software version to be loaded.
Y => Go to 2.

N => Change the software version in the BTS Attributes to the version to be loaded. The alarm handling is complete.
Check whether the software version in the Alarm Location Information is the same as the BTS version in the BTS Attributes.
Y => This is a history alarm. No handling is required.

N => This is not a history alarm. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
