Description

The alarm is reported when an E1 loopback test command is sent to the BTS through the BSC maintenance system.

Impact on the System

The BTS cannot communicate with the BSC and the BTS services are interrupted upon occurrence of this alarm.

System Actions

The BTS automatically resets and is back to normal when the test time is out.

Possible Causes

E1 self loop test.

Procedure

  1. This alarm is a warning reported upon manual remote loopback test. No manual handling is required for it.
