Description

The alarm is triggered when the clock module on the active TMU is faulty.

Impact on the System

The BTS services will not be affected upon occurrence of this alarm if the active clock is normal.

System Actions

The system will automatically initiate an active/standby clock module switchover.

Possible Causes

The clock module is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Reset the standby TMU

    Reset the standby TMU and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm handling ends.

    N=> Go to Step 2.

  2. Replace the standby TMU

  3. Replace the standby TMU[/#2011] and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm handling ends.

    N=> Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
