Description

This alarm is reported when the lightning arrester on the main rack where the DTMU is located is faulty.

System Actions

The abnormal slot alarm is reported.

Possible Causes

The lightning arrester is damaged.

Procedure

  1. Check the indicator on the lightning protection arrester on the top of the cabinet.
    1. If the indicator is red, replace the lightning arrester as follows:

      Power off the cabinet, remove the faulty lightning protection arrester, insert a new lightning protection arrester, and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

      Y=> The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

      N=> The alarm is not cleared. Go to step 2.

    2. If the indicator is green, go to next step.
  2. Check the alarm cable

    Ensure the alarm cable between the lightning protection arrester and the DSAC is well

    Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N=> The alarm is not cleared. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
