This alarm is generated under the following circumstances: An exception occurs in the optical signals received by or transmitted from optical module A or B.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • Tributary No. 0: Optical module A of the DOMU is not properly installed or is damaged.
  • Tributary No. 1: Optical module B of the DOMU is not properly installed or is damaged.

Procedure

  1. Reinstall the malfunctioning optical module of the DOMU.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 2.

  2. Replace the faulty optical module of the DOMU.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center
