Description

This alarm is triggered when the EDU detects that the bias current of the receiving LNA is beyond the normal range.

Impact on the System

  • Since the receiving LNA of the EDU works abnormally, the corresponding BTS receiving channel is less sensitive, thus the signal quality deteriorates.
  • The BTS has two receiving channels, a primary and a secondary. Therefore, the BTS can still work normally in this case.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The receiving LNA of the EDU works abnormally
  • The EDU alarm circuit is abnormal.

Procedure

  1. Replace the EDU, reconnect all RF cables and start the corresponding TRX. View whether this alarm is cleared.
