ALM-5312 Board Type Mismatch

Description

The alarm is reported when the type of the board installed in the slot of the combining and distribution unit is inconsistent with the board type configured on the BSC.

Sub No. 255: The BTS detects that the configured board type in the DAFU subrack is inconsistent with the actual board type.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • Sub No. 0: The in-position board is not the DUP unit.
  • Sub No. 1: The DFCU or DFCB is mistakenly configured.
  • Sub No. 255: The BTS detects that the configured board type in the DAFU subrack is inconsistent with the actual board type.

Procedure

  1. Check the configuration information.

    On the LMT, check whether the configuration is consistent with the required configuration.

    Y => Consistent. Go to procedure 3.

    N => Inconsistent. Go to procedure 2.

  2. Modify the configuration on the LMT.

    Modify the configuration on the LMT, and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 3.

  3. Replace the faulty or wrong DDPU/DDPM/DFCU.

    Replace the DDPU/DDPM/DFCU that generates the alarm with the correct module, and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling is complete.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
