Description

This alarm is reported when the DDPU detects that the communication cable is replaced by mistake during operation.

Impact on the System

The mapping between the DDPU number and the cell number is incorrect when this alarm is generated.

System Actions

The abnormal slot alarm is reported.

Possible Causes

  • The connectors of the communication cable are not in good contact.
  • The communication cable is replaced by mistake.

Procedure

  1. Check if the data cable of the DDPU is connected properly.

    Y=>Go to Step 3.

    N=>Go to Step 2.

  2. Connect the data cable of the DDPU properly. Check if the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is complete.

    N=>Go to Step 3.

  3. Replace the faulty DDPU. Check if the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is complete.

    N=>The alarm is not cleared. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
