ALM-5640 Ambient Humidity Too Low

Description

This alarm is reported when the ambient humidity is lower than the lower humidity threshold. The default lower humidity threshold is 10%.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The ambient humidity is too low.
  • The setting of lower humidity threshold is not reasonable.
  • The humidity sensor fails. The cables that connect the humidity sensor are faulty.
  • The PMU of the power system is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check the threshold of the ambient humidity alarm.
    1. View the threshold of the humidity alarm, and check whether the lower humidity threshold is correct:

      Y => The setting is correct. Go to procedure 2.

      N => The setting is wrong. Go to step b.

    2. Change the threshold of the ambient humidity alarm.
    3. Check whether the alarm is cleared:

      Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling ends.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 2.

  2. Check the air conditioner or heat exchanger.
    1. Check whether the air conditioner or heat exchanger is functional:

      Y => The air conditioner or heat exchanger is functional. Go to procedure 3.

      N => The air conditioner or heat exchanger is faulty. Go to step b.

    2. Repair the air conditioner or heat exchanger.
    3. Check whether the alarm is cleared:

      Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling ends.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 3.

  3. Replace the temperature and humidity sensor.
    1. Replace the temperature and humidity sensor.
    2. Check whether the alarm is cleared:

      Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling ends.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
