Impact on the System

Services may be interrupted when the TRX starts high temperature protection if the internal temperature of the cabinet is too high.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The internal temperature of the cabinet is higher than 40 °C.
  • The temperature sensor is damaged.

Procedure

  1. Check the internal temperature of the cabinet

    Run the LST BTSEXD command on the MML client.

    Check whether the Upper Temperature Thrsh. and the Lower Temperature Thrsh. are below the threshold.

    Y=> Go to Step 2.

    N=> Huawei Customer Service Center.

  2. Check the air conditioner and the fan

    Check the air conditioner and the fan. Clear the faults if any. View whether the alarm is cleared after the internal temperature of the cabinet resumes normal.

    Y=> The alarm handling ends.

    N=> Go to Step 3.

  3. Check whether the threshold is below normal value

    Check whether the threshold is below normal value. Note that the normal temperature inside the cabinet is 0°C°04-C.

    Y=>Modify the threshold value.

    The operation procedure is as follows:

    Run the SET BTSEXD command on the MML client.

    Modify the Upper Temperature Thrsh. and Check if the alarm is cleared.The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is completed. The alarm is not cleared. Go to Step 4.

    N=>The threshold is normally set. Go to step 4.

  4. Check the temperature sensor.

    Check the temperature sensor. Replace the temperature sensor if faulty. View whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm handling ends.

    N=> Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
