Description

This alarm is reported when the humidity of the environment is lower than the threshold (default: 10%).

The BTS hardware may be destroyed if the alarm is reported.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The environment humidity is lower than the lower humidity threshold.
  • The setting of the lower humidity threshold is improper.
  • The humidity sensor is faulty.
  • The cable connecting to the humidity sensor is faulty.
  • The lightening protection board is faulty.
  • The environment monitoring module is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Judge the causes according to other alarm information.

    None.

  2. Find out other causes.
    1. Check if the lower humidity threshold of the DEMU is set properly.

      Y=> Go to Step b.

      N=> Reset the lower humidity threshold.

    2. Check whether the cabling of the humidity sensor is normal.

      Y=> Go to step c.

      N=> Reconnect the cables.

    3. Check whether the humidity sensor works normally.

      Y=> The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is completed.

      N=> The alarm is not cleared. Go to Step d.

    4. Check whether the lightning protection board works normally.

      Y=> The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is completed.

      N=> The alarm is not cleared. Go to Step e).

    5. Check whether the cables of the humidity sensor are connected properly.

      Y=> Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.

      N=> Reconnect the cables.
