The alarm is reported when communication between the DEMU and DTMU interrupts.

The DEMU cannot report the alarm.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The CBUS3 is faulty.
  • The cables of the environment monitoring module are faulty. Or the DEMU is not inserted tight.
  • The environment monitoring module is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the MPT and the EMU are properly connected.
    1. Check the connection between the MPT and the EMU. Reconnect the cables if necessary.
    2. Check whether the alarm is cleared:

      Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling ends.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 2.

  2. Replace the EMU.
    1. Replace the EMU.
    2. Check whether the alarm is cleared:

      Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling ends.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 3.

  3. Reset the MPT.
    1. Reset the MPT.
    2. Check whether the alarm is cleared:

      Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling ends.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 4.

  4. Replace the MPT.
    1. Replace the MPT.
    2. Check whether the alarm is cleared:

      Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling ends.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
