Description

The alarm is reported when objects with infrared device run into the infrared detection area in the machine room.

Impact on the System

This alarm indicates that the equipment may be intruded.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The machine room is intruded.
  • The infrared sensor or the cables connecting it are faulty.
  • The switches are set incorrectly.
  • The DEMU is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Judge the causes according to other alarm information.

    Check if there are intruders.

    Y=> Clear the alarm and check the intruders.

    N=> Go to Step 2.

  2. Find out other causes.
    1. Check if the switches of the DEMU are set correctly.

      Y=> Go to Step b.

      N=> Reset the switches.

    2. The near end if the infrared sensor is faulty or the distribution cables are not properly connected or faulty.

      Y=> Replace the infrared sensor and connect the distribution cables properly.

      N=> Go to step c.

    3. Check whether the DEMU is faulty.

      Y=> Replace the DEMU.

      N=> Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
