703 M3UA Route Unvailable

Description

This alarm is reported when the M3UA route is invalid.

3 Cause

0=indicates that the corresponding link set is faulty,1=indicates that the route is forbidden,254=indicates the initial user configuration

4 Alarm Attribute

0=Normal, Alarms period are longer than the Transient Threshold.

1=Transient Count, The times and the period of the alarms whose periods are shorter than the Transient Threshold are summed up. If the sum result is longer than the Alarm Occurrence Period Threshold or Alarm Occurrence Times Threshold, an alarm so called Transient Count Alarm is triggered. Because Transient Count Alarm is based on accumulative result, the recovery of the alarm may occur at least one Summing Cycle later. The Summing Cycle can be query by MML "LST STATSLDWIN".

Impact on the System

If the corresponding DSP has only one route, the signaling point is unreachable. Then, the 704 M3UA Destination Entity Unvailably alarm is generated.

System Actions

If one signaling link in the link set is restored to normal, the alarm is cleared automatically.

Possible Causes

The corresponding link set is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check whether signaling links are configured in the corresponding link set.

    Y => Go to 2.

    N => Configure signaling links. The alarm handling is complete.

  2. Check whether the 701 M3UA Link Fault alarm is generated before this alarm.

    Y => Clear the alarm by referring to the handling suggestion for the 701 M3UA Link Fault alarm. The alarm handling is complete.

    N => The 701 M3UA Link Fault alarm is not generated and this alarm is not cleared. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
