ALM-9744 UBFA Fault Alarm

Description

The fan speed is less than 60 circle/min or the fan speed detecting circuit is faulty. 0: fan 0 is blocked; 1: fan 1 is blocked; 2: fan 2 is blocked.

Impact on the System

When the alarm is generated, the hardware might be damaged, thus affecting the services.

Possible Causes

  • The ambient temperature is too high or too low;
  • The alarm threshold is incorrectly set;
  • The temperature sensor is faulty;
  • The fan board is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Replace the fan.

    2. Check whether the alarm is cleared:

      Y => The alarm is cleared. The alarm handling ends.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
