1) Loosen the screws on the DB25 male connector of the E1 cable connected to the E1 lightning protection board. Then, remove the connector.
2) Use a screwdriver to remove the captive screws that fix the E1 lightning protection board. Then, remove the E1 lightning protection board from the slot of the DSCB.
3) Place the new E1 lightning protection board in the right position. Then, fix the E1 lightning protection board to the mount panel by using a screw assembly.
4) According to the location record, reconnect the E1 cable, and then tighten the screws.
