Check whether the working mode of the E1/T1 port of the BSC and that of the peer NE are the same

1) Log in to the LMT and then choose Alarm Maintenance > Browse Alarm. Then, view the Subrack No., Slot No., and Port No. in the alarm location information.

2) Select the BSC on the Management Tree tab page.

3) On the BSC Device Panel tab page, right-click the corresponding GEIUx board according to the Subrack No. and Slot No. in the alarm location information, and then choose Query Interface Board Port Information from the shortcut menu.

4) Set the Subrack No., Slot No., Query Object, and Port No. in the Board Location area.

5) On the Query EIU Port Status tab page, click Query.

6) Check whether the working mode is E1 or T1.

7) Contact the maintenance engineers of the peer NE. Check the working mode of the interface board of the peer NE.

8) Check whether the working mode of the E1/T1 port of the BSC interface board and that of the peer NE are the same.

Y => The working mode of the E1/T1 port of the BSC interface board and that of the peer NE are the same.

N => The working mode of the E1/T1 port of the BSC interface board and that of the peer NE are different.
