Check the transmissions at the peer end

If the "Sub No." is 0 and the BTS3002C works in the E1 transmission mode, connect the E1 links between the near end and peer end (BSC or upper-level site) to the ports on the peer end; if the "Sub No." is 0 and the BTS3002C works in the optical transmission mode, connect the optical fibers between the near end and peer end (BSC or upper-level site) to the ports on the peer end.

? If the upper level of the BTS3002C is BSC, check whether the LOS indicator on the GOIUB of the BSC is off.

Y=> The transmission links at the peer end is normal.

N=>The transmission links at the peer end is unavailable. Repair the links and the alarm handling ends.

? If the upper level of the BTS3002C is a BTS, follow the method below to handle the alarm.

- Perform a loopback test on the E1 links between the near-end BTS3002C and the lower-level BTS3002C if the "Sub No." is 1 and the BTS3002C works in the E1 transmission mode.

- Perform a loopback test on the fibers between the near-end BTS3002C to and lower-level BTS3002C if the "Sub No." is 1 and the near-end BTS3002C works in the optical transmission mode,

Check whether the LIU indicator on the lower-level BTS3002C is off.
