GGCU

The GGCU is the general clock unit of the BSC. Two GGCUs should be installed in slots 12-13 in the GMPS and should work in active/standby mode.

• Functions of the GGCU
  The GGCU provides synchronization clocks for the BSC.
• GGCU Panel
  The components on the GGCU panel are the LEDs and ports.
• LEDs on the GGCU Panel
  There are three LEDs on the GGCU panel: RUN, ALM, and ACT.
• Ports on the GGCU Panel
  The GGCU panel provides sixteen ports, of which ten ports are labeled CLKOUT, two COM, one TESTOUT, one TESTIN, and two CLKIN.
