Configuring the BSC (A over IP)

This describes the procedures for BSC initial configuration on the LMT using the minimum configuration data when the A over IP mode is used.

  1. Configuring the BSC Global Data (A over IP)
    This describes how to configure the BSC global data in A over IP mode. The BSC global data consists of BSC attributes, M3UA data, and the relation between the GMPS/GEPS and the signaling points.
  2. Configuring the BSC Devices (A over IP)
    This describes how to configure the BSC devices on the LMT when the A over IP mode is used.
  3. Configuring the BSC Links (A over IP)
    This describes how to configure the M3UA links when the A over IP mode is used. The M3UA links are responsible for the signaling transmission between the BSC and the MSC.
  4. Configuring Clocks for the BSC (A over IP)
    This describes how to configure clocks for the BSC in A over IP mode. The BSC clocks are responsible for the synchronization of boards in each subrack.
