The BSC logs are classified into the following types:
Operation log
Operation logs record the information about maintenance and configuration operations.
Running log
Running logs record the information about system running status.
Debugging log
Debugging logs record the information about fault location in the BSC.
Lastword log
Lastword logs record the major information, such as timer data, before errors occur in the BSC system. These logs help to locate faults such as abnormal restart.
The main function of lastword logs is to record and sample the information about board reset. The lastword logs are main resources for system testability and fault location. The lastword logs can provide detailed information for locating faults such as board collapse, and thus improves the efficiency of problem solving.
CS CHR log
The CS CHR logs record the information about CS calls and dot trace to help quickly locate problems.
BTS log
BTS logs record the problems that occur when the BTS is running and the debugging information.
Frequency scan log
Frequency scan logs record the information about the frequency scan of cells. Frequency scan is used for both the BSC maintenance and the network planning.
TRX power log
The TRX power logs record the history TRX power. The logs help to query the TRX power.
Equipment room temperature log
The equipment room temperature logs record the temperature information in the equipment room.
