Setting/Querying IP Communication Modes on Interfaces

This describes how to set/query IP communication modes on the A, Abis, and Gb interfaces through MML commands.

Prerequisites

The LMT runs normally.
The communication between the LMT and the BSC is normal.
The communication between the BSC and the BTS is normal.
The IP communication is available to the A, Abis, and Gb interfaces.

Procedure

Run the LST ITFIPTYPE command on the LMT to query the IP communication mode on the A, Abis, and Gb interfaces.
Run the SET ITFIPTYPE command on the LMT to set the IP communication mode on the A, Abis, and Gb interfaces.
