Performing Loopback Test on Board Communication Links

This describes how to test the board loopback. Set the start character and step of the board data on the LMT; then, loop back the sent data; at last check the error between the received data with the sent data to learn the transmission performance of the board.

Procedure

1. Choose BSC Maintenance > Maintain Board > Test Board Loopback. A dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.

2. Set parameters in the Location and Testing Data areas, and then click Start. The results are displayed, as shown in Figure 2.

3. Click Cancel.
